Project Description
BioCreate from ROSA 3D is characterised by its simplicity of printing. The material has a high temperature resistance (Vicat softening temperature: 114°C), significantly exceeding PLA’s. Depending on the printed model, it can be printed in an open chamber (as opposed to ABS), however, for higher models or ones with a larger base area, we recommend printing in a closed chamber in order to obtain greater layer to layer adhesion.
BioCreate filament is made of a biopolymer consisting of 100% natural raw materials. It decomposes in up to 12 weeks time (industrial compost).
BioCreate has a wide range of applications, from machine parts, through decorative elements, dishes, to toys and furniture.
Printouts from BioCreate can be machined (ground, turned, drilled, etc.) and painted.
The material from which the BioCreate filament is made is approved for contact with food. However, in case of products that come into contact with food, certification lies with the manufacturer of the final product.
